RSV Vaccination for Pregnant Women [Sumiyoshi & Umeda]

Dear Patients,

Thank you for your continued trust in our clinic.

From April 1, 2026, routine RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) vaccination for pregnant women will begin in Osaka City.

The vaccination will be available at both our Sumiyoshi and Umeda clinics.

This service is available not only to patients currently attending our clinic, but also to those receiving prenatal care at other medical institutions.

■ Eligible Period for Vaccination
From 28 weeks 0 days to 36 weeks 6 days of pregnancy

■Cost
For patients who are registered residents of Osaka City, the vaccination will be provided free of charge.

Pregnant women residing outside Osaka City will be required to pay out-of-pocket (RSV vaccine fee: JPY 37,550 + tax, plus consultation fee).

Please note that depending on your municipality, reimbursement may be available. We kindly ask that you confirm this with your local municipality before making a reservation.
