{"id":2808,"date":"2023-11-15T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-10-10T01:09:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.oakclinic-group.com\/wp\/info\/2808\/"},"modified":"2025-04-07T13:36:43","modified_gmt":"2025-04-07T04:36:43","slug":"info148","status":"publish","type":"info","link":"https:\/\/www.oakclinic-group.com\/en\/info\/info148\/","title":{"rendered":"Notice for patients visiting under insurance treatment about the collection of extra-hour designated medical fees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\r\n   Oak Clinic, Sumiyoshi and Oak Clinic, Umeda will be changing the reporting times for insurance medical treatments starting from August 1 (Tuesday), while Oak Clinic, Ginza will be making the same change starting from September 1 (Friday).\r\n  <\/p>\r\n<p>\r\n   The extra-hour designated medical fees* are calculated as 30% of the amount derived from the insurance points (amounts less than 10 yen are rounded down).\r\n   <br\/>\r\n   For instance, for patients whose medical expenses bear a self-pay ratio of 30%, the amount paid at the counter, plus consumption tax, would be the same as the extra-hour designated medical fees.\r\n  <\/p>\r\n<ul class=\"mt10 mb10 ml40 mr40\" style=\"font-size: 0.9em;\">\r\n<li>\r\n    *Designated Care Fees are costs that have been permitted for concurrent use with insurance treatments under certain rules based on the Mixed Medical Care Expense System.\r\n    <br\/>\r\n    In our clinic, reservation fees and after-hours consultation fees have been reported to the Health Bureau as Designated Care Fees and have been accepted.\r\n   <\/li>\r\n<li>\r\n    *Out-of-Hours Service Fee are calculated as 30% (rounded down to the nearest 10 yen) of the amount calculated from insurance points. Therefore, patients whose copayment rate is not 30%, patients who exceed the maximum out-of-pocket cost under the high-cost medical care system, or patients who incur costs other than advanced medical insurance treatments may have different Out-of-Hours Service Fee than the amount shown.\r\n    <br\/>\r\n    Also, Out-of-Hours Service Fee are not subject to the High-Cost Medical Care System.\r\n   <\/li>\r\n<li>\r\n    *A separate consumption tax will be charged on Designated Care Fees.\r\n   <\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<div class=\"section-dept__content02_text mt30\">\r\n<h3
