■Dr. Sagiri Taguchi

Kawasaki Medical University Graduate, Hyogo Medical Graduate School Graduate.  Her specialty is “Infertility from the anti-sperm antibody”.  Her thesis was the Identification and Characterization of a sperm Peptide Antigen Recognized By a Monoclonal Antisperm Autoantibody Derived from a Vasectomized Mouse.(Journal: Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications.)
After Fuchu Hospital, she began her work for Oak Medical Group.  In regards to In Vitro Fertilization, she believes that it is important to build a treatment strategy including an ovulation induction method, and she is really pouring her strength into deciding the policy based on the condition of each individual.

■Dr. Miyako Funabiki

University of Kobe School of Literature Psychology Department Graduate, Hyogo Medical University Graduate.
After her experiences with Hyogo Medical University, Nishinomiya Central Municipal Hospital and Palmore Hospital she joined Oak Medical Group.
Wants to let her own personal experience with infertility and the skills she learned at Edinburgh University, such as the culturing method of premature eggs, to be her practice.  Additionally, from early on, gave attention to the correlation of infertility and obesity, and based from the results of a patient who showed success with dropping 14kg in a matter of only 2 months she was able to correct the patient’s ovulation problem and also gave birth to the diet program.  She has many presentations at conferences both in Japan and abroad.  “The influence of body mass index (BMI) on pregnancy outcome among Japanese infertile women” was presented at the 2013 ASRM (American Society for Reproductive Medicine).

Dr. Terumi Hayashi Photo

■Dr. Terumi Hayashi

From the Hyogo Medical University Medical Center Obstetrics and Gynecology Department Classroom to the Takarazuka Municipal Hospital, alongside Dr. Ken’ichiro Ikuma- a leading expert in laparoscopic surgery, she performed many laparoscopic surgeries.  She presented, “Laparoscopic surgery to create a vagina with ‘S-Colon’ disease for the congenital absence of the vagina”, which was quite innovative at the time.  She wielded this skill at the National Shinoyama Hospital, and the Adventist Hospital of Kobe.
From 2005, she joined Oak Medical Group.  She is in charge of recurrent miscarriages, which is a problem stemming from post implantation.  She is working centering on anticoagulant therapy.
She wrote in her thesis about “Single curettage endometrial biopsy injury in the proliferative phase improves reproductive outcome of subsequent in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer cycle in infertile patients with repeated embryo implantation failure”.

Dr. Yoshihiro Tada Photo

 

Doctor's Message

■Dr. Yoshihiro Tada

Graduate from Kyoto Prefectural Medical University, after working at the National Maizuru Hospital, Kyoto Prefectural Yosanoumi Hospital, and Matsushita Memorial Hospital he then joined Oak Medical Group at Sumiyoshi.
He is the doctor with a rich experience of the hysteroscope surgery.  Presently, he is in charge of a wide range of practices from cooperating with the Urology Department to the testicular extraction of sperm (TESE) to hormone treatment, centering on male infertility.

 

Thesis Paper:
Effect of medroxyprogesterone acetate, a synthetic progestogen, on the expression of heat shock proteins in cisplatin-resistant uterine endometrial cancer cells.

■Dr. Yuri Iwaki

Kanazawa University School of Medicine Graduate.  After her time at Kyoto Prefectural Medical University in Obstetrics and Gynecolocy, 2nd Red Cross Hospital of Kyoto and Saiseikai Suita Hospital, she joined Oak Medical Group.  At the Central Hospital she was piled with a number of surgeries, an “all rounder”.  Knowledgeable in Oriental Medicine, and at Oak Clinic she is single handedly creating the regimen of herbal medicine to go along with the infertility cases.  She has written several theses for presentation.
In one such thesis there was: A Case of Infective Endocarditis Complicated with Acute Aortic Regurgitation in Pregnancy.
Screening test for maternal vitamin K deficiency and analysis of maternal diet – examination of regional differences.

■Dr. Masako Karita

Osaka Medical University Graduate.  At the same university hospital she did her clinical training, and then after that started working.  Then she was an assistant professor.  After her experience at Osaka South Medical Center, she joined Oak Medical Group.  At university she was involved in the infertility group, and also did research on endometriosis.  In 2011, she received her degree.
Her thesis paper was “Does advanced-stage endometriosis affect the gene expression of estrogen and progesteron receptors in granulosa cells?” The gene expressions of the estrogen and progesterone receptors in granulose cells of severe endometriosis (Fertility and Sterility, Vol. 95, No. 3, March 1, 2011).

Graduate of Fukuoka University; Received a degree from Fukuoka University's Graduate School of Medicine. With work experience from Fukuoka University's Hospital, Izuka Hospital, FukuokaTokushu Group Hospital, and Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Fukuoka University, Dr. Ota joined Oak Clinic in October of 2016 and practices at our Ginza location.

Dr. Matsubara has experience as Assistant Professor at Kansai Medical University's Hospital, and as Medical Chief of outpatient.

Keiou University Department of Economics Major in Economics, Kobe University School of Medicine Graduate.
Initial Rotation after training at Wakakusa First Hospital, then to Aijin Group Chibune Hospital, then Osaka Red Cross Hospital. One part of the practice at Uehommachi’s Hiromi Ladies Clinic, and is in charge of the outpatient at Oak Clinic in Sumiyoshi.  She is handling the improvement of the of the ovarian function decline caused by increasing age.  She has also had exchanges with clinics in Korea and China, and is actively using Oriental Medicine in her treatments.
